Advertising and controversy - duh.

Calvin Klein ads are sometimes considered akin to late night movies. Racy, risque and suggestive. And of course every time they put one up on a billboard or into a magazine it generates a lot of press.

What's that saying? Any publicity is good publicity? Yeah, that's the one. And guess what? Calvin Klein listened, took it to heart and got a whole lot of free press. Again.

The fact of the matter is they want the controversy, they want the reaction, they want the commentary.

Anyone remember Brooke Shields?
