Ever go to the store and spend less than $2 on something but wind up with a receipt almost a yard long? Sure it's got all sorts of info, maybe a coupon or seven, but really, hot dogs and subs are footlongs, not receipts.
It's a trend that is growing every day, resulting in more paper waste generated, over and over. The Wall Street Journal has an interesting article about it.
